Unlike the larger, family-oriented camps nearby, Granite Suites is a strictly adults-only retreat (16+), designed for those who seek silence, privacy, and an unbroken connection to the wild. The lodge creates a seamless transition between the interior luxury of silver, charcoal, and grey, and the raw granite boulders of the Sabi Sand riverbed.
It is an architectural conversation with nature: the interiors do not try to compete with the outdoors but rather mimic them. Textures are rough and organic, while the palette is moody and sophisticated. It is intimate, meditative, and arguably the most romantic camp in Southern Africa.

What to Expect
Unrivaled Privacy
With a maximum of six guests in camp, the service is hyper-personalized. You don’t just get a room; you get a private canvas for your African experience.
The "Suspended" Pools
Each suite opens onto a heated private plunge pool that feels suspended over the Sand River. These are lined with dark stone to reflect the sky. It is not uncommon to watch elephants digging for water in the riverbed below while you swim.
The "Sunset River Bar"
A signature Granite feature, walk directly from your suite onto the river rocks to a sunken cocktail lounge. This spot puts your eye level parallel with the water, offering a unique perspective for evening drinks.
Culinary Philosophy
The food follows Londolozi’s “Simply Sophisticated” ethos, ethically sourced and hyper-local. Expect fresh produce from the Londolozi Village Gardens, “bush breakfasts” served after your game drive, and traditional Boma dinners under the stars.

The Photographic Studio
Granite Suites guests have access to the on-site Photographic Studio. You can rent professional telephoto lenses (so you don’t have to carry them through airports) and book sessions with Lightroom instructors to edit your images on retina-display iMacs between game drives.
Essential Planning Information
Age Restriction
Guests must be 16 years or older, unless the entire camp (all 3 suites) is booked for exclusive use.
Best Time to Visit
Game viewing is spectacular year-round. May to September (Winter) offers the best visibility as the bush thins out, but mornings are cold. November to February (Summer) is lush and green with newborn animals, but hotter.
What to Pack
Adhere to the “Neutral Rule”, khaki, beige, and grey. Bright colors distract wildlife. If traveling in winter, bring a heavy jacket and beanie for morning drives; it warms up by 10 AM.
Getting There
We recommend a direct private charter with Federal Air to the Londolozi airstrip (skipping the commercial hub of Skukuza) for a seamless “tarmac-to-landrover” arrival.

Granite Suites
